That is to say, all Discord has to do is implement a "Do you wish to see NSFW content?" option on the discord website and then it's allowed to show NSFW content on its IOS app. Those guidelines state: "If your app includes user-generated content from a web-based service, it may display incidental mature “NSFW” content, provided that the content is hidden by default and only displayed when the user turns it on via your website." This is 100% the fault of Discord and their lazy implementation of Apple's App Store Review Guidelines. Hopefully when we give enough feedback, Discord has leverage for negotiation with Apple. > I would like to add: Discord isn't to blame. This seems to be rather easy to fix if you really want to hold people accountable with ID or stop punishing the masses for the actions of a few. If you are so concerned with NSFW servers and underage people consuming content there tie it to ID then if they want to see it? How about that? At least in the US you can scan an id at the gas station and it will tell them if its real and how old they are. hate speech and there are no repercussions. Its a larger problem than NSFW servers and content, this is a perfect example of the current vacuum of user accountability and spam with the fact that accounts are not tied to anything and people can say what ever they want i.e. At best this would need to be a temporary solution for a long term problem and you need to get all hands on deck to fix this. I assume this is from pressure given by apple but you are your own company and censoring peoples content based off an organizations opinions is the reason why America is messed up and doing things like this could be a gateway to other censorship. It's a good idea but it probably rates quite low on their priority list given that there are other options - with Option 4 being to have the foresight enough to put that stuff on a separate account in the first place.I see this as a terrible solution. Valve tends to take a while to add new features like this, if they decide to do so at all. now your only options are the 3 that I listed. then why not just purchase them on a separate account entirely? I mean, it's a little late for that, but that would have been a good plan if you're an avid collector of NSFW games.

if you're gong to buy that many then be embarrassed that somebody MIGHT see your screen when in a more public setting. If that's still "too much work", then at least a third of your library must be NSFW games. You want to be able to filter / sort / hide by genre tag, instead of having to select every one of them manually - except, if you're using OPTION 2, to hide them, then you only need to hide the NSFW games. I understand your point, though, you have thousands of games in your library. I said to myself one day, "I spend more time sorting these games then I do actually playing them." in 8 or 9 years.Īlso, I have hundreds of games in my library & sorted all of them all. We're not Valve, so in attempt to assist you, this is the best solution you'll get until they see this and MAYBE decide to implement the feature. Originally posted by Skay:None of those options are really feasible with large (and active) libraries, you guys really have hard time understanding *filters*, i can filter games in right now, i should be able to filter them *out* too. and if I'm not mistaken, you can actually do all 3 options together if you want - for maximum hiding of stuff you're embarrassed about others knowing you play! (It helps if you have all of your other games sorted into categories too, like I do.) Then add all of the NSFW games to your horse games category. Name the collection "Horse Games" or something else inconspicuous.

Go to your library, right click a game, then choose "Add to >" then "+ New Collection". Option 3, Trojan Category (The Shell Game) If you added something there by accident, you can use the cog on the far right page of the game in order to access that "Manage" menu again & unhide it. To view it again, click the tiny word "View" from the top left corner of the client menu, then choose "Hidden Games". Go to your library, right click a game, then choose "Manage" then choose, "Hide this game".
#On off nsfw full#
You just choose which games you want to be visible in your library when in Family View then enter your pin to gain access to your full library, including the NSFW games. Option 1, Steam Family View - as another use mentioned, Adult only(nsfw) on/off filter for library view.
